  • Vantage Flame™ ensures the flame will automatically re-light if it goes out while cooking.

  • A recipe for success in any kitchen, Electrolux ICON built-in and freestanding ranges serve up a variety of cooking options in a stylishly designed, powerful range that looks good anywhere. From the oven to the cooktop, our ranges are full of thoughtful features that help serious multi-taskers in their kitchens. Available in gas and dual-fuel configurations, Electrolux ICON ranges are perfect for replacement, remodels or new construction.
    • A built-in range is designed to slide in and fit flush with your countertop. This is ideal for an island and can also be used in a regular setting to showcase a decorative backsplash. With a built-in range (also called a slide-in range), the cooktop and oven controls are at the front of the appliance.
    • A freestanding range is used in traditional installations (against the kitchen wall), and typically has a backguard at behind the cooktop.
What is the difference between a gas range and a dual-fuel range?
    • A professional style gas range feature a powerful gas cooktop and the oven uses gas also as the cooking fuel.
    • A dual-fuel range features a power gas cooktop and an extra large electric oven for those who want the flexibility that a gas cooktop offers with the convenience of a large even baking electric oven.
Note: To use a dual-fuel range you must have both gas and electric power connections behind the range.
  • Designed with a dual-flame, sealed burner, this cooktop offers the widest range of BTU performance in the industry, for the utmost versatility – from a roaring 18,000-BTU boil to a gentle 450-BTU simmer.
  • If your burner is only partially lit, it could be because it is clogged. Be sure to turn the burner off, then use a small-gauge wire or needle to clean its openings. A partial flame might also be caused by moisture remaining in the burner after it has been cleaned. If you think this might be the case, lightly fan the flame and allow the burner to operate until the flame is full.
  • You might see an orange flame if there are dust particles in your main gas line. Simply turn your burner on for a few minutes, until the flame turns blue. Note: In coastal areas, it is normal to regularly see a flame that is slightly orange. This is caused by the salt in the air.
  • If your cooktop’s gas burners don’t light, check the following:
    • The control knob. Be sure the control knob is completely turned on. Push it in and turn it to “Light” until the burner ignites, then turn the knob to the desired flame level.
    • The burners. Check your burners for clogs. Be sure to turn them off, then use a small-gauge wire or needle to clean their openings. For detailed instructions, see your Use & Care Guide.
    • Your electricity source. If a power outage has occurred, you might want to call your local electric company.
If the burners still do not light, contact your dealer, installing agent, or authorized service provider, or contact Electrolux at 1-877-4ELECTROLUX.
  • Electrolux ICON ranges offer thoughtful design, both inside and out. Smooth-Glide oven racks with a ball-bearing system are so smooth, they extend effortlessly.
  • Electrolux ICON ranges offer CustomConvect 3™, which features a third convection element for consistently even results, up to 30% faster cooking times, and even more baking options. Convection cooking is cooking with the added advantage of airflow circulation, which allows for a more even distribution of heat. By using the forced flow of hot air, convection cooking produces the following benefits:
    • Cooking time is approximately 25 – 30% faster than in conventional ovens, saving energy.
    • The more even distribution of heat results in food that is more evenly baked.
    • Generally, less heat is required than with a conventional oven – a convection oven usually cooks at 25°F below a conventional oven's required temperature. So simply program your oven according to your recipe’s temperature requirements and press “Convection Conversion,” and the oven will automatically convert the temperature.
  • Many factors can affect baking, and you can help ensure best results by following these recommendations:
    • Make sure the oven rack position is the right one for the dish you’re preparing.
    • Place your food in the center of the oven.
    • If you’re placing more than one pan in the oven, be sure to allow space between them so that air can circulate.
    • Preheat your oven to the desired temperature before placing food in it.
    • If necessary, try adjusting your recipe’s suggested cooking time and temperature.
  • This means that the oven has detected a condition it needs to check. Press “Cancel” to clear the display and to stop the beeping sound, then try turning the oven off and on again. If you still see the “F,” turn off the power to your oven and wait five minutes before turning it on again. If you hear the beep or see the “F” when you try to bake or broil again, please call your authorized provider for service or contact Electrolux at 1-877-4ELECTROLUX.
  • If your range does not appear to be level, try the following:
    • Adjust the range’s leveling legs. It’s possible that your oven was not level when it was installed. To check this, simply place a rack in the center of the oven, then place a level on the rack and adjust the leveling legs.
    • Check your kitchen cabinet alignment. The position of your cabinets may make your oven appliance appear to not be level. Be sure your cabinets are square, and that they leave sufficient room for appliance clearance.
    • Be sure your kitchen floor is level. Check your floor to be sure it’s level, strong, and stable enough to adequately support the appliance. If the floor is sagging or sloping, you might want to contact a carpenter to correct it.
  • For best results when cleaning your stainless steel range:
    • Clean it using warm, soapy water and a clean sponge or cloth. Do not use an abrasive cloth or pad.
    • Always rinse your range thoroughly with clean water. If the soap or other cleanser isn’t rinsed off, it might produce a permanent bluish stain once the range is heated.
    • After you’ve rinsed it, dry the range with a soft, clean cloth.
Tip: If you choose to use a kitchen cleanser rather than soapy water, use only cleansers that are specially made for cleaning stainless steel – avoid harsh scrubbing cleansers.
  • To self-clean your oven, follow these simple steps:
    • Remove the oven racks.
    • Set your oven control to “Clean.”
    • Select a cleaning time. For typical cleaning needs, we recommend that you select a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
    • Select “Start.” (To set a delayed start, see your Use & Care Guide.)
Note: For safety reasons, the over door will remain locked until the oven cools down. When it is sufficiently cool, the door will automatically unlock.
  • Electrolux ICON ranges have Smooth-Glide oven racks, which are designed to move effortlessly. To keep your oven racks gliding smoothly when you’re removing or inserting them, we recommend lightly applying cooking oil along their outer edges.
  • A built-in range is designed to slide in and fit flush with your countertop. This is ideal for an island and can also be used in a regular setting to showcase a decorative backsplash. With a built-in range (also called a slide-in range), the cooktop and oven controls are at the front of the appliance. A freestanding range is used in traditional installations (against the kitchen wall), and typically has controls at the back of the cooktop.
  • A Double Oven Range is a range that features two ovens so you can cook more of your favorite dishes at the same time.
  • These powerful cooking appliances are available in 30” and 36” wide options with a single oven and a 48” wide double oven for our ultimate cooking experience.
  • We offer Flexible Cooktop Configuration: The cooktop offers a wide range of burner sizes, giving you more flexibility so you can create a multi-course meal at once.
  • To make clean-up easier of your continuous cast-iron grates you may choose to coat the grates with a thin layer of cooking oil.
  • To close an open door when it’s in the locked position and the door is open, press and hold the oven door light switch while following these simple steps:
    • Program the oven to self-clean.
    • Wait 20 seconds.
    • Cancel self-clean.
    • Wait 20 seconds.
You should then be able to close the door.
